Our Story
Home Street Carpet Care is a division of Home Street Serviced Apartments, a company with roots stretching back to 1985. Founded by Gary and Vicky Smith, the business began in the corporate housing industry, eventually becoming the first-ever franchise of Marriott ExecuStay in 2002.
In 2012, Mitch Smith joined the ownership group, and by 2019 became the sole owner. When American Heartland Inc. rebranded as Home Street Serviced Apartments in 2020, the company had already built deep relationships with apartment communities across Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, and Pennsylvania.
Through years of managing furnished apartments, we developed expertise in carpet care that our apartment partners came to rely on. Home Street Carpet Care was born from that expertise, offering the same professional-grade cleaning services to homeowners and businesses across the Pittsburgh area.
